Dons Sponsors Evening
Created on Monday, 12 December 2011
MKDSA member Paul Deering was guest of MKDSA as sponsor of Dean Lewingtons kit. Paul pictured with Dean on the night, took stage for a photo opportunity collecting a signed photo from Dean with Cowshed neighbour Andy and MKDSA Membership Officer Dave Gaskell.Guests were greeted with a glass of wine or orange with mince pies and donuts on the tables (and the biggest jug of water I have seen for a long time). I am glad to report that Dean stuck to the water and was not tempted by the 2 ladies sat either side of him to break his diet. This was after the MKDSA tested the donuts first of course.
The evening was hosted by BBC Three Counties Luke Ashmead, gave the opportunity to all sponsors to mingle with all of the players and management taking the opportunity to collect autographs and photographs. The players themselves were at ease also taking times out to mingle and the odd mince pie.
Luke asked questions as they were called up including Manager Karl Robinson. Everyone was very happy with their current form and looking forward to the QPR game ahead. There was also a raffle for a signed shirt and bids accepted for signed MK Dons match day programs from the likes of Patrick Stewart, Ian Wright and Glen Hoddle.
The evening broke up with the offer of watching the premier game in the pitch side bar which I know Luke Ashmead was heading after the game armed with a box of donuts.
