Monday evening saw the final match of the season at stadiummk, and it was the fans and the stewards who fought for glory as the curtain came down on a long season in Milton Keynes. This was the second match between MK Dons Supporters Association FC and MK Dons Stewards and was held to raise money for the Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes. It was a wonderful occasion living up to the glorious weather and providing a fun evening for everyone.

It was the Supporters who emerged victorious at the end of the match by the closest of scorelines - MKDSA FC 3-2 MK Dons Stewards. Both sides went in at half time level 0-0 but it was the Stewards who broke the deadlock early in the second half and looked to be heading for a win. However the Supporters came back with three goals to secure the victory and with it the trophy.

The MKDSA would like to thank everyone who took part in the event in whatever capacity.  A special thank you to Barber Sports of Neath Hill who provided the officials trophies and the Man of the Match trophy free of charge. Also to the guest of honour Nathan Abbey and to MK Dons Football Club for allowing us to use the stadium for the match.

However, the biggest winners from the event were the Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes.  Fans were asked to dig deep in their pockets and sponsor players as well as purchasing various special packages.  Although we don't have the final figure yet, we are pleased to announce that in excess of £250.00 has been raised for this worthwhile cause.  Thank you to everyone who contributed.

Update on Wednesday 30th May: Over £650.00 has now been raised from this event although this is still not the final figure.
