After an excellent point away at Huddersfield yesterday, we've come up with another interview of an MKDSA member for you to read over your Sunday morning tea and toast.  A former Leeds supporter, Roger has been a member of the association for five years and shares his views with us on MK Dons and the work of the Supporters Association. Could we remind Dons fans that we would still love to hear from you if you could complete the attached interview.  Please CLICK HERE.

How long have you followed MK Dons?

Seems a while now but started following them from the cowshed at the National Hockey Stadium seen a few managers go in that short time!

Why did you start to follow the Dons?

I Love live football the whole occasion and atmosphere that comes with it.  I was bought up with 1970/80s football and was pleasantly surprised at how the atmosphere around most of the grounds home and away had changed over the years with the Dons leading the way. Went down to the National Hockey Stadium a few times with my son and we were hooked!!

Who did you support before the Dons?

Marching on Together we are so proud were shouting out loud.

Which stand do you sit in?

Standard Corner

How long have you been a member of the MKDSA?

Probably about 5 years, They have been and they continue to be a very important voice for the Dons.

Who's your favourite player?

You have to admire Luke Chadwick a different class I will never forget his debut at the Den what a fantastic game.

Why did you join the MKDSA?

It seems a very small contribution to make towards all their hard work with the added benefits of the social side outside football and where would we be if they hadn?t the vision and passion to form the Supporters Association and continue to take it forward. The club has a huge debt to the committee.

Best memory from following the Dons

Without all the normal memorable football matches I will never forget carol singing with Mad Dog Allen and the players.

Worst away ground visited?

For what they charge to watch it has to be the Posh it?s a dirty smelly horrible dump in Peterborough, Championship your having a laugh!

Best away ground visited?

This is a tough one really enjoy our trips to Wycombe the fans and atmosphere make a ground what it is Brentford is always a great trip and you are very close to the action.

Best thing about supporting the Dons?

The Highs and Lows of football you just don?t know what to expect in this division but I hope that we continue to make History and become a stable Championship side playing a style of football being developed under Karl Robinson and John Gorman guidance.

Come on you Mighty MK Dons

MKDSA Formation

On 23rd October 2003, thirty fans met at the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes to establish a new supporters association following the arrival of Wimbledon Football Club (now renamed Milton Keynes Dons FC), from their former home at Selhurst Park in South London. A number of people volunteered to undertake roles as part of a steering committee to lead the association during its formation stages. In May 2004, the first full Annual General Meeting was held and Officers were elected by it's members

MKDSA Purpose

The purpose of the MK Dons Supporters Association is to provide an organised and family oriented supporters association for fans of Milton Keynes Dons Football Club.  The MKDSA aims to act as an independant voice for MK Dons supporters, ensuring that their views are represented with the Club and other organisations involved with the Dons.  It also aims to promote the Football Club within the community, increase levels of support and establish and maintain high quality services, communications and benefits for its members.
