Prior to Christmas the MK Dons Supporters Association Football Club slipped to a dramatic 4-3 defeat at the hands of table topping Preston North End. The Dons will be looking to avenge that defeat in their first match of the New Year which sees them welcome Carlisle United Supporters to Milton Keynes. Both teams compete in the IFA League with the MKDSA currently in 23rd and Carlisle in 68th position.Fans of both clubs are welcome to attend the match which will take place at Leon School and Sports College, Fern Grove, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, MK2 3HQ with kick off scheduled for 10:30am on Saturday 14th January 2012. On 23rd October 2003, thirty fans met at the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes to establish a new supporters association following the arrival of Wimbledon Football Club (now renamed Milton Keynes Dons FC), from their former home at Selhurst Park in South London. A number of people volunteered to undertake roles as part of a steering committee to lead the association during its formation stages.
