MKDSA FC v Media Tarts
Created on Tuesday, 20 December 2011
This Friday (23rd December 2011) sees the MK Dons Supporters Association Football Club take on the Milton Keynes "Media Tarts" Xl in what has become a traditional fixture in the MKDSA calender. The Media Tarts side is put together by MK Dons Publications Manager Lee Scriven and contains players from local media organisations as well as staff from MK Dons FC. In the past the team has included representatives from BBC Three Counties Radio, MK News and MK Citizen. Last time out even Bobby Winkelman (son of the the chairman) put on his boots for the Tarts side.
Fans of the Dons and members of the Supporters Association are welcome to come along and support the teams. Kick off is at 7pm on Friday 23rd December and the match will take place on the Astro Turf at Woughton on the Green. The match also holds special significance for MKDSA FC manager Colin Berry - it's his birthday! And in the true tradition of MKDSA v Tarts matches he's happy to have pints bought for him before, during and after the game.
On a more serious... but festive note, each member of the MKDSA side has each agreed to donate a toy or childrens DVD which will all be delivered to the Childrens Ward at Milton Keynes Hospital.
